Vintage Classic 1966 Mustang Coupe C Code 8 Cylinder 289 2 Barrel
1966 Ford Mustang C Description
I don't know much about this vehicle other than it is a Classic 1966 Mustang Coupe, C Code 8 Cylinder 289 2 Barrel with Automatic Transmission. The vehicle has 90,815 Original Miles. There is no Power Steering, Power Brakes or Air Conditioning. The car is clean, complete and running. The vehicle starts, runs and is drivable (see Note). The car is a repaint. There is practically almost no rust other than some minor surface bubbles. There was a lot of money put into this car and I have a lot of the documentation on the work that was done with the restoration.
The car is clean, complete and runs great for a 53 year old vintage Classic Car. A full restoration will be the best option for this vehicle and can easily double in value.
I purchased this vehicle from a family relative who drove this car on a daily basis. The vehicle has always been garage kept and starts, runs and is drivable (see Note)
I am ONLY selling this car because I am moving and don't drive the car and figured it’s time to let someone else enjoy. Its a GREAT Investment and can possibly be worth twice as much when fully restored.
The Good:
- Car starts up on a dime, runs and is drivable (see note)
- New Battery- Body is in very good condition, practically rust free other than some minor surface bubbles (if you want pictures of the area, just request).
- Practically New Michelin Tires- Rear Seats has NO Rips or Tears- 90,815 Original Miles on Original Factory Engine
- Firewall completely restored- Horn, Wipers, Headlights, Brake Lights, Turn Signals ALL WORKING!- Clean Title
The Bad: (Keep in mind this is a 53 year old Vehicle)
- Transmission Leaks- Front Driver and Passenger Seats have tears/rips- Driver side window does not completely go up as there is a 1/2 inch gap (may just need readjusting)- Radio not properly working (not original)- Headliner has a very small tear but overall headliner is in excellent condition.- Center Console ash tray door is loose or broke- Front and Rear Bumpers have little pitting but overall very good condition.
Note:Although the car is drivable, I would not recommend driving this vehicle until the transmission leak has been repaired and the vehicle has been inspected by a knowledgeable/certified automotive mechanic as I don't know much about this vehicle.
Please feel free to message me with any questions or request. The miles on car is original and it has a clear NJ title showing car with actual miles!!!
Please Serious bidders only!!!
I also have more photos upon request.
