1960 Ford Thunderbird Description

1960 Thunderbird Hardtop needing to finish restoration. It is rare in that it has the 430 Lincoln engine option. The car is complete. Has the proper engine andtransmission, but needs restoration. I am selling it because I have no time to devote to it. I just sold a restoration business that I had for 30+ years. I started restoring it but will not have time to finish, getting up in age and have too many customer projects. The car has some rust around the drivers rear wheel opening (repair panel is available and included if you request it). Also included is the new front seat covers and foam, and a few boxes of misc parts. Heater core has been replaced with a new one. The car has the Lincoln rose metallic body color with two-tone tan interior (factory). I painted the floors prior to installing a new rose-beige carpet set. There is no rust on the floors, trunk, hood and trunk rain rims. The trunk lid has some bondo but can be fixed, see pix. Car has all windows not broken. Dash needs new dash pad.The car also has a hitch.The car was checked for rust issues. All the usual areas that have rust are clean (see pix), accept for the drivers side rear wheel area, in pix. Dave had a Thunderbird restoration business for 30 years that he just sold. Dave still has customer cars to finish and is letting go of his own project cars due to health issues.The car is complete. Dave had started some restoring on the interior. There are new bucket seat covers and foam, not installed here is a pix of the cover on the seat. The floors and trunk were painted and new insulation and carpet was installed. There was a new heater core installed, (hard work to do). There are other new items for this car, like new radio knobs, antenna. I have posted some pix of some of these items. It has the proper engine and transmission. It has all the parts that go under the hood. All interior parts are there. It will need chrome work and paint, engine rebuild... option; If you are interested in having the engine restored to running condition we can do that for you for an additional $2500.
