1930 Ford Model A MODEL A Description

1930 MODEL A SEDAN.

I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A 82 YEAR YOUNG MAN, HE HAD A PAIR OF THEM. IT WAS SITTING IN HIS BARN COVERED WITH DUST. I TOWED IT HOME ON A ROLLBACK, DRAINED THE TANK, SANDED THE POINTS CHARGED THE BATTERY... IT FIRED RIGHT UP, JUST AS HE SAID IT WOULD DO.

Engine cranks and runs very good, Does Not Smoke/Leak/Use/Burn any oil. Its missing 1 original plug wire, I made one with a piece of aluminum fence wire {works good}. Engine baylooks to be inoriginal condition, it needs detailing and painting.

Transmission shifts out through all gears very good, does Not jump out of any gears.

Clutch is good, No slipping.

Mileage shows 04183, Cant say its actual miles, IWas not around here in 1930. Title shows EXEMPT.

Interior is Nice and Clean. Seats are nice, front and rear. Carpet is nice, Headliner is nice, has a stain in the rear.Door panels are nice.All glass is good. Door windows roll down nice. All doors open and close tight. Front glass tilts out easy.

Rear view Mirror has a Factory FORD Clock made into it. Clock does not work Buts its Nice. Car has a ASH TRAY mounted on dash, Looks original but not sure. Car has VASELINE glass flower holders mounted on both sides original to the car. Rear window has a Pull Down Shade from factory.

Side Vent Glass Windows are aftermarket I think, They have Flowers etched into them.

There is an Gas Ration Sticker on the front windshield, It has { A-MILEAGE RATION } its from the Gas Ration era.

The Trunk mounted on the Rear bumper is Nice and original to the car, it opens and closes nice, It has quite a few older parts inside of it to go with the car.

I do have an original HAND CRANK to hand start the engine. { never tried it = electric starter works good }

Head Lights work, aftermarket switch has been mounted under the dash.

Wipers work.

OOGAH Horn works.

The roof of the car is nice, there are 2-3 dents, on each side of the vinyl panel on top. Not big but they are there. {I will try to post pics of dents}

The Rims and Tires are nice. All 5 Tires have very good tread and All 5 Tires are the Wide White Walls.
