1941 FORD DELUXE 2 DOOR SEDAN
1941 Ford Deluxe Description
Selling this 1941 Ford Deluxe 2 door Sedan for a family friend who passed away last fall. I am somewhat familiar with the car as I replaced a motor mount and did a little tune-up work on it in the fall of 2017. Here is what I know, The car has the following features;
- A zz4 350 cubic inch, 345 h.p. small block Chevy engine, Holley carburator, HEI ignition, Hedmann Hedders, custom dual exhaust
- 350 trans with shift and a Lokar floor shift
- 8 inch Ford differential
- Vintage air w/electric fan
- Mustang II style front end w/power rack and pinion from Street Rod Engineering, (AZ)
- Power disc brakes
- Dakota digital gauges
- Chrome ididit tilt column, leather wrapped LeCarra steering wheel
- Power cowl vent
- A really nice custom interior with power bucket seats
- Painted an AMC deep maroon metallic
The above information was obtained through observation and receipts, (there are 2 folders of them). I believe the car was originally built in the early 2000's and was updated extensively around 2011, again according to receipts. This included glass, window channels, interior, handles, some trim, exhaust, radiator, etc. My friend purchased the car in 2006. There is a ding in the bottom corner of the trunk, but otherwise very few minor chips on the entire body. Please look at the photos.
I have been involved with street rods for several decades and I must say that this is one of the nicest driving card I've experienced. I truthfully would buy it myself except I already have too many. I believe you could get in and drive this car across the country. Please email or call with questions. (414-810-9316) I will answer the best I can. Call also if you wish to schedule a viewing. FYI: The car is also for sale locally so we reserve the right tyo end the auction should it sell.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Ron
