This is an unrestored, fully documented, one-of-a-kind, 1-owner and just a true “survivor”. Only 2,341 were ever made and only 1 of 645 with this specific paint and trim codes. A legitimate numbers matching S-Code 390 4-speed. We will provide pictures of some of the documentation but there are many more and will be on display.
This ’67 Mustang was special ordered from the Vietnam Direct Ford Military Sales Program while the U.S. Army service member was serving his tour in Vietnam. The new buyer/owner will receive the original Vietnam PX & BX Direct Factory Sales Program Special Order sheet along with a photocopy of the service member’s DD-214, as shown in the pictures. This Mustang was delivered to C&C Motors in Horsham, PA. The father of the service member picked up the vehicle from C&C and garaged it until his son returned home to the U.S. from his tour in Vietnam. This Mustang remained in Horsham, PA for its entire life. This rare Mustang was extremely well cared for and the owner logged EVERYTHING he did to the car, as shown in the pictures of the full original hand written journal, which will also be provided to the new buyer/owner.
Other documentation that will be included as part of the sale of this Mustang include: The Original Build Sheet that was attached to the wiring harness, Marti Report, Owner’s Card, Original Keys, Owner’s Book and the Welcome Letter from C&C Ford Service Department.
This Mustang has the original Raven Black paint and original red vinyl standard seats. The top was replaced on Sept 15, 1970, which is logged in the handwritten journal.
We recently replaced the tires with the original F70-14 Wide Oval White Sidewall tires that it came equipped with when special ordered. We also just refreshed and cleaned the original engine along with new gaskets. This Mustang is 100% numbers matching and has been verified from the top if the engine carb to the rear of this car!
All the original documents will be on display in a binder, which will allow you to see and read the FULL STORY of the U.S. Army service member and his 1967 Ford Mustang GT convertible S-Code 390.
** THIS MUSTANG WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL-FORD NATIONAL'S IN CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA FROM MAY 31, 2019 THROUGH JUNE 2, 2019!**
