1948 Ford Other Pickups Description

1948 Ford F1 pickup truck with major alterations. Has 350 cu in Chevy engine mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission. This modified hotrod has a monster Holley carburetor, custom aluminum valve covers, aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans, headers, dual exhaust that exit through the running boards, Mustang front end, custom gauges, etc,etc. It has a 4:11 rear end. The interior has been completely redone in a “snake skin” type material. The body has been block sanded and paint black, with an incredible paint job. There is some minor body damage done to the right front, nothing awful. I have been quoted $2000.00 to have professionally repaired and repainted to match. There has been extensive metal work done throughout the F1 using aluminum diamond plate material. The bed has been replaced with new stained poplar wood and is beautiful. The grill has special red lighting on the backside that flashes. Just under $40K was spent on the restoration of this Ford F1 and making it into a street hot rod. The speedometer needs to be calibrated and comes with instructions. The tachometer is not wired. This rod is much for me to handle at the age of 71, so I have to let it go.
