1957 Ford Thunderbird Description

1957 Ford Thunderbird. Beautiful. Original numbers matching correct V-code Flame Red with V-code matching hard top. XH code red / white interior. Rebuilt D-Code 312 ci V-8 engine with 4 bbl carb on original intake manifold. Runs and drives great. Proper labels and stamps as correct from factory. Dry and unrusted underside pictures posted show the care and completeness of restoration. Oversized front anti-sway bar (ADDCO 805) plus addition of rear anti-sway bar ADDCO 308) makes the car handle very well without the typical 1950's sloppy ride characteristics. Drum brakes front and rear stop easily in straight line - no pulling or inconsistent braking. Original tube-type Town and Country radio (not working). Clock (not working). Original Fordomatic 3-spd automatic transmission. Hardtop only (no convertible top was delivered from factory). Wide white wall radial tires. Full fender skirts. Newer carpets and floor mats. Power steering. New exhaust. Chrome on right front bumper section is weak, but all other chrome pieces are very good. Body trim and emblems are new. MD Title in sellers name.
