This classic 1963 Falcon Ranchero came from an Estate Liquidation. It is a great candidate for restoration and would make a great project car!. The frame is structurally sound; the body has minimal rust; all the window glass is present and none is broken, hipped, r missing (including the windshield, ack window, oth side wing windows, nd both door windows); the interior components and accessories (door handles, indow cranks, adio knobs, tc.etc.) are all present; and the mechanics are in running order. All of these items make this a prime specimen for your next project vehicle. It runs and drives and has a clean title. AM radio. N Needs brakes.
This Ranchero is one of only a small number of Rancheros manufactured in 1963 with the optional factory 260 cu in (4.3 L) V8 engine, rather than the standard economical 144 cu in (2.4 L) straight-6or the 170 cu in (2.8 L) straight-6, hich was first offered in 1961). Along with the engine upgrade came the upgrade to 5 bolt wheels rather than the standard 4 bolt wheel and was manufactured witha two-speed (*see note below) Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. (* Note- conflicting information - some sources of information state this was a three-speed automatic; others say two-speed.). Printed marketing ads for the new "Falcon Ranchero" claimed it had an 800-lb. load capacity
