I am selling my 1978 F150 custom show truck due to needing money for bills. This truck is not perfect but is definitely a 9 out of 10, 40 year old truck in excellent condition. Tens of thousands have been spent to restore and build this truck and you will not be disappointed.
Complete frame up restoration with very little, to no bondo on body. Mirror black paint is in great condition but has a few scratches and blisters that could be easily repaired. Passenger door has rust starting under paint at the bottom, and the bed has dents left from its pre-restored usage. Spray on bed liner and rubber mats (not pictured) make it a great truck at the car shows. Good glass with no cracks or chips.
Perfect mechanical condition starting with the 800 horse power 351 Cleveland engine, direct drive BDS 871 blower/ charger and two 4 barrel DEMON 950 carbs. All fuel lines are braided stainless and the fuel is stored in the bed mounted custom welded stainless tank. Runs great and sounds amazing with its true dual exhaust. 4x4 shifts in and out smoothly and handles very well.1978 Ford F159 inch wheel base. suspension lift 9” 2" body lift. 385 15.5 by 20" discover Cooper STT pros on alpha hostile rims 20 by 12”. 5/13 gears Detroit locker in rear end. Four speed manual trans.
Body is an 8 out of 10 - interior's a 10 out of 10. This truck is in very nice condition and turns heads everywhere it goes. Aftermarket radio deck complete with premium speaker, sub and and amp system mounted behind seat. 23,000 miles but don’t know if they are original.
