1949 Ford Other Pickups Red Patina Description

Up for sale is a ultra rare 1949 Mercury pickup.
These were never offer for sale in the United States. This is a Canadian produced vehicle that was strictly sold in the Canadian market. They have some extra trim and bells and whistles that a Ford did not offer. This are a very cool and unique automobile. There is a small hole in the passenger side floor and a few spots on the fenders but no huge rust issues. Cab corners are very solid. The truck does not run and is being sold as a project. I have not tried to start or turn the truck over. It's a flathead v8 with a manual trans on the floor. The seat needs to be redone. The tires hold air and it rolls freely. It has clear and open title. The truck is located in Pembina North Dakota. This would be a very cool project for somebody. Great advertising potential or just use it around town for trips to the local lumber yard or what not.
