1980 ford thunderbird, 4.2 liter V-8, 3 speed auto. Just inspected, 56,000 original documented miles. This car was placed in storage 10 years ago and brought back out recently to be prepared for the road.The entire fuel system was overhauled with: new gas tank, fuel pump and hoses, carburetor rebuilt. New starter installed, new muffler and tailpipe. Front struts and rear shocks were replaced just before the car went into storage. oil and filter was changed. Everything functions on the car including the a/c which is still ice cold. Interior is in good condition with no major issues, exterior is in solid shape with blemishes that are to be expected from original 40 year old paint. Partial vinyl top has some deterioration. Overall the car is a true time capsule that can be driven anywhere. They only made this style of T-Bird for 3 years and finding one in this condition with only 56,000 miles makes this one even more rare.
