1957 Ford Thunderbird 2-Door Convertible Same Owner Since 1960 - Raven Black - Hardtop - D Code 312ci V8 (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are not presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer... this beautiful, black, and long-standing ownership 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Duthler Ford of Grand Rapids, MI owned this first generation Thunderbird as a demo from the manufacturer until April 5, 1960 when Mr. and Mrs. Botting of Bryon Center, MI purchased the car from salesman Fred Williams with a 30 Day or 1,000 Mile Warranty. Accompanying this vehicle purchase is the original Bill of Sale from Duthler Ford and the Original Title, both dating back to 1960. Original documents, not copies. Only 21,000 Thunderbirds were produced in 1957, 51,000 total first generation T-Birds made between 1955 and 1957. The Thunderbird was Ford's response to the Corvette, and we think they made an exceptional vehicle at the time. This example has 64k original miles and is finished in factory Raven Black repaint. The car is powered by the original "D code" 312ci/245hp 4bbl V8 with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Other noteworthy features include the rare Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels (both sets offered withs sale, original two-tone interior, spare wheel and jack, Swift Sure power brakes, removable hard top, soft top (in poor condition), original radio, floor shifted Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, analog clock, and Master Guide power steering. The car is turn-key ready and ready for a new garage. Paint, chrome, interior, and undercarriage are all in great condition. The panels fit, finish and door gaps all indicate no accident history ever and the vehicle retains its original factory sheet metal. With the desirable 312 motor, factory Black color, and technically a one-owner vehicle with original documentation, this Thunderbird is far above average. Find another one at this price that checks all those boxes. A great value at the price offered here. Turn heads in this black beauty and enjoy your investment on the open road.
