Back in the 1920's and 30's one of the most common affordable cars of choice was the model A and Model T Ford. Millions were built to drive the beautiful highways like famous Rt 66 the Lincoln highway to name a few. The production line Fords could now allow people to cross this great country of ours, used for work, touring, sight seeing, etc.- The famous Ford. Along with the good came a little bad; when dads Ford would blow... a tire, overheat, pound a bearing, or a unfortunate road accident. Roadside general stores would add gasoline to their general inventory with perhaps a Wayne visible gas pump for dispensing.
