up for auction is a 1968 ford mustang fastback. This car was driven into a dirt floor garage in 1982 and was untouched until now. This car is the perfect candidate to rebuild with dynacorn body,or the absolute perfect ideal coupe to fastback conversion.ALL of the fastback only parts are included, among them are:
complete roof section with all structural supports etc. needed to rebuild the car or put the complete top on a coupe.
headliner bows.
all fastback brackets for back seat back inner panels etc.
all fastback interior pieces.
All glass.
All stainless fastback trim for around windows and weatherstrip.
As a matter of fact this car was complete and only has 79599 miles on it.
I cut most of the rotted junk metal off of the bottom of the car I was going to just buy a complete dynacorn one piece lower section for it then put the complete apron assy's and rad support on it,but I have too many projects before this one. This car comes with what I believe is the original 289 engine that is totally complete with all brackets etc. still on it and c4 transmission complete I also have the original rear end, driveshaft, tranny mount, engine mounts, power steering and steering parts, wiring, steering column, etc. Also has the vin numbers from both front aprons, the dash, the drivers door, and they all match.I even have the original build sheet for it (see pics). This car does not have a salvage title I just dont have the title but I do have the paper needed to get a new york registration which is all you need to get it titled in any of the 50 states because new york did not have titles before 1973.Look at pics they show a lot of the parts for it,the interior is actually in pretty nice condition and could be easily used in a driver condition car,the dash doesn't even have any cracks in it. e-mail me with any questions. Absolutely no reserve auction highest bidder gets it. (the jig its on is NOT included and does not come with it).also note all parts were slowly and carefully removed so they could be reused nothing was cut or ripped off all screws came out nothing stripped or had to be chiseled out etc.
