With just over 99,000 actual miles, this exceptionally solid Mustang has been beautifully cared for by its four documented owners from new, with only one repaint of the exterior in 1999.The vehicle runs exceptionally well, with very minor cosmetic blemishes such as a few small chips, small ding on hood, convertible top normal wear and tear, expired analog clock, and small spot of paint fade on rear right quarter. It is a wonderful cruising vehicle!
This Mustang began its life on October 2nd, 1970 and was sold new at Vincent Ford-Mercury in Cottonwood, Arizona on October 14th, 1970. The original owner only kept this car for the first two years, when its second owner took possession in 1973. He kept the vehicle in Phoenix through 1985 before bringing it to the St. Louis, MO area. In the late 1990s, the second owner installed new front seat upholstery and seat foams, convertible top, and the front chin spoiler. The third owner purchased the Mustang in September 2013, and subsequently sold it to the current owner in 2014.
This Mustang took its fourth owner on a scenic adventure across Historic Route 66 in 2015 on Hagerty's Great American Tour! Following its journey across the country it was well-cared for in the southern New Hampshire area, being stored indoors and kept completely safe from any inclement weather.
