1966 Ford Mustang California Special Description

I have decided to sell this beautiful, original, low mileage 1966 Mustang; factory 289 4 barrel, automatic with AC, power steering and brakes and pony interior.
The original owner was a Ford dealer in San Diego who modified the Mustang to be the first California Special. Of course, it is not a California Special because they came out in 1968 with a spoiler on the back but his wife loved it. The 51,000 miles showing on the odometer are believed to be original as the tie rod ends and the ball joints look original. The paint is largely original too. I repaired two quarter sized rust holes in the bottom of each fender but otherwise the car is rust free. I rebuilt the power steering system, the power drum brakes, installed rear springs, an aluminum radiator and a new gas tank. She has not been registered since 1996 and has a clean Texas title. The interior is original and looks very nice overall, needing some of the stitching re-done on the driver's seat that has come apart over the years. She runs great and will spin the tires if you hit the gas on the freshly rebuilt engine.
Thanks for looking.
