I wanted to provide more information per several requests.
According to the Marti report (photo), this Stroppe was originally sold by 4 Seasons Ford in Long Beach, not too far from the Stroppe shop in Long Beach.
I purchased the Bronco from Joe Heskett in Bullhead City, the second owner.
Joe removed the engine, trim, lights and glass before having the Bronco repainted.
Some of the things I have done since I acquired the Bronco.
Installed tires on the four (4) original rims, bought new rim and tire for spare.
Removed 2" lift front & rear.
Removed fiberglass hood and installed original paint hood that came with the vehicle.
Rebuilt the transmission and transfer case.
Rebuilt steering gearbox.
Installed new shocks all around - yep 8 of them.
I have been told from Andrew of Baja Broncos that the original fender flares on this Stroppe were replaced. I assume Joe had them replaced during the re-paint as Andrew knows they were previously on the vehicle. Additionally, the bumpers are not the original bumpers and the dash was cut to accommodate an aftermarket radio.
Right now this Bronco operates well and is a good driver. There are no rust issues.
