First,I am NOT a Dealer, however, I was in my past life. I have enjoyed collecting very cool pieces of history from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. This particular 64 Fuel Injected Ford Galaxie, is pretty straight, and has been carefully recreated from a master builder named Dave Preston. He had this for many years, and was a driver for him, so yes the lights, brakes, tires, and everything else are in good condition since this was his passion. He did what he was famous for, and transplanted a 2003 Ford GT Mustang, 5 speed complete drive train, into this clean survivor - and it looks like it came this way. I then took it to another well known Barrett Jackson quality refinisher named "All Class Auto Restoration" where many winners have been born. Kevin did what he does for over 2 years and well...the pics can do the rest of the talking. I can tell you the metallic is brilliant when the sun hits this car, and the gloss is very deep. Very little is needed to make this a 100 percent. I would refinish about 4 pieces of chrome around the vehicle; the inside windshield trim, one corner piece out against the like new power white top, but this car shows really well and is a turn key driver. You can buy this today, and be showing it tonight after any long distance drive. It could use a set of mufflers, which do sound good, but are older as they were done several years ago..but these things are very minor. Lastly, the lights all work, but you will need to tweak the speedo/odometer. All of this could probably be address under $1500, and then you would have a 50 K Plus car. Mileage shows 80K, but because of its age, and odometer, it will be sold "exempt", as all vehicles over 10 years are. Let these pics on my property tell the rest of the story. It is in a climate controlled garage, and now its time it goes to its new family to enjoy. I can tell you I took it out last week to a sweet sixteen party, and it sat next to a 400K Lambo, and got WAY MORE attention...notice the pic at the golf course. My brother owns a dealership and can help with the title transfer, and shipping locally, but I WILL assist your shippers with some notice. |
