1954 FORD COURIER SEDAN DELIVERY. The Ford's straight-six engine last ran a few years back and was driven to the end of the road and returned to indoor storage. It possesses a "3-on-the-tree" manual transmission.
A one-owner, rare vehicle. Used as a "paint wagon" for the family painting business. While some of the body was sandblasted and primed years back, some body areas retain the many year's coatings of paint over-sprayconsisting of an array of colors used to paint houses, barns, cribs, metal roofs, tractors and other equipment, etc. Even parts of the business name still show through this unique paint scheme.
The vehicle is complete. It has rust along the under body, fenders and rear as can be seen in what pics I currently have in my possession. I can get you all the pics you need if you let me know specifics. The interior shows its age. Again, it is complete, including the only seat it's had since it was purchased. The raised cargo floor is solid.
While there is plenty of restoration needed, this vehicle is solid for its age and a great project for the right enthusiast. This is preliminary information to begin the listing. More specific information to come.
