1993 Ford Mustang Description

EXCELLENT BODY & PAINT !

THE ORIGINAL FLOOR PAN/UNDERSIDE AND REAR REAR WHEELHOUSES LOOK FANTASTIC !

For your consideration is a 1993 Mustang Fox Body LX 5.0 Sedan/Coupe in YN Silver paint code.

The best I can determine, 7,135 Notch Backs were produced in Manual & Automatics - (628 were SSP).

Of the 7,135, Notchbacks only 354 were YN Silver = lowest production color.

It is not known how many SSPs were actually Silver, but the number has to be "very few”!

This Collector piece should only rise in future value as per Hagerty's comments regarding the Foxbody Mustangs.

Only six SSP Mustangs are known to have been used by the US Postal Service.

This is 1 of 6 SSP's (Special Service Package) Mustangs that served duty for the Postal Inspectors in LA.

This car was used for surveillance and undercover work.

It did not see severe duty Police duty like endless idle hours or high speed pursuits by Troopers or Sheriff's departments where most SSP's existed.

It spent a dry, rust free life in Southern California.

This sedan came out of service and was auctioned in 2006.

The Postal Service had all six SSP's painted with a low quality re-spray before they came out of service. A fellow from AZ bought the cars.

This car was block sanded by hand down to the original clear coat and professionally painted with PPG Detron paint with high solids clearcoat = Cost around $9,700.

The work was completed in a high end body shop that specializes in European cars, their work is second to none.

Don't let the mileage fool you! This isn't a beat up, hammered, and abused SSP Mustang, but near a show quality type car.

VIN stickers and buck tags are in place which indicates this Mustang has never been in a major accident.

The interior looks new.

NEW/NOS Ford Windshield & Carlite Quarter glass (price out the quarter windows if you can find them).

2001 Bullitt shocks, struts and springs.

Ford Racing complete 3.73 rear axle.

SN 95 front spindles.

Exterior trim, drip rail, belt moldings & headlights are New/NOS.

It is running 5 lug Bullitt wheels with a matching Bullitt spare tire in the trunk.(SSP's had full size spare tires.)

Nicely equipped for an SSP & Everything works as it should, cruise control, lighted visors, shifts well and AC blows cold.

Very quick fun with the current gearing setup.

Engine is stock and Original silicone hoses are still in great condition.

Dark tint windows.

Original Owner's manual w/ VIN warranty card.

Vehicle is stored indoors with VP unleaded C9 racing fuel due to its stability and longevity.

Custom made CoverKing Satin Cover included.

Marti Report in hand.

Really hate to let this one go, but need to downsize the stable which is the reason for this sale.

This Mustang needs to be driven and enjoyed.

If it fails to meet Reserve, I'll proudly hold on to it...........
