1950 Ford F-150 Brass Description

This 1950 Ford F-150 commercial pickup has undergone many changes in recent years. Roughly 8 years ago I assisted my younger sister in purchasing the truck. I have a good eye for metal work and the chopped top, body channeled over the floor, and shortened bed were along worth the $6500 we got the truck for. Long story short I got in trouble for assisting little sister to purchase a death trap, and my father proceeded to invest somewhere around $15,000 in making the truck safe for his teen daughter. It received 2 bolt on roll cages, seat belts, rebuilt suspension all around and rebuilt brake system, rebuilt rear end, new driveshaft, rebuilt radiator,, and new wiring. About 6 years ago the truck was sold to me. Since I've ourchased the truck it has received a brandnew 350 Crate engine, a brand new 350 Crate transmission (completing the full chassis/driveline rebuild), new gauges, new intake, brass accents through car, new fuel pump and filter, new battery hubcaps and rings, radiator hoses, and other smaller items like hoses and stainless hardware through, exhaust wrap, and a good maintenance standard. The truck, with its new engine and transmission, is reliable and fun. With a go cart stance and a tight steering box the most fun this truck will offer is around 80MPH on a twisty two lane highway, as it seems to have glue on the treads. It would suffice well as an around town work truck or a platform for a show car. I have personally made a few trips to our family's ranch a few hundred miles away in it without problem. The truck is currently in need of paint and upholstery (optional), new front tires, new mirrors, new audio speakers (the work but are a little fuzzy), and a fuel gauge. Currently fuel level is checked with a copper dipstick, simply by dipping it into the foam filled keg. I hope I have explained thoroughly the details of this amazing truck. With over $30,000 invested into the truck since my family has owned it in the last few years, I hope that potential buyers see the value in what we've done with the truck before we I pass it on. The sale price is negotiable. I am starting bidding at a price I desire for as is condition. If you request that the truck receives one or more of the mentioned upgrades that it needs, like new front tires, I am more than happy to adjust the price to provide a customized sale to you. The truck was last registered in March 2019, but I will update the registration for those interested in taking the truck for a test drive. I was not able to load video of the truck starting and driving but will be happy to accommodate serious buyers with personal footage of the truck upon request. Thank you for reading and have a great day.
