1965 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible. V8 Gasoline Engine. Automatic Transmission. RWD.
Very nicely restored. Drive it and turn heads as is, or take it to the next step for a show car. The car is very straight with doors that shut perfectly. Both bumpers were re-chromed and look great. Other trim is very good with expected wear. The interior overall is in good shape. Carpet is faded, but seat and dash are very good, with no cracks or tears.
The car has very rare factory air that works. The heater, wipers, all lights, signals work. It has a 352 with 4V, power steering/brakes/ full dual exhaust provide a subtle rumble. Top is new and hydraulics work. The car has professionally installed aftermarket disc brakes up front, Remote driver mirror, day/night mirror, light group, seat belts, am radio plus under dash aftermarket stereo. Auxiliary water temp and oil pressure gauges work well. Idiot lights work but are disconnected.
The classic Cragars look great, but I also have a set of stock bias ply whitewalls on 16 in steel wheels and hub caps if you want to go stock.
