This 1966 Pro Touring Mustang was rotisserie restored, resulting in a superior performing and handling classic muscle car. It includes numerous power and comfort options, and attention to detail was used during the restoration to where it runs, drives, looks, sits, and sounds incredible. The paint, fit, finish, and attention to detail are show quality. This car is truly a blast to drive and it draws attention wherever she goes. A little over 2000 "shakedown" miles have been put on the car since completion of this fully documented build to where this car needs nothing other than a new owner.
· Numerous subtle and structural modifications and improvements were made while outwardly staying true to the originally of the car. Underside is reinforced with subframe connectors, and center floor brace including driveshaft loop were added. Custom made semi-hidden front cage assemblymaking an incredibly stiff structure while providing for a smooth ride and allowing for an unobstructed rigid engine compartment.
· Rear wheel wells are mini tubbed with 2" wider inner wheel houses. Rear rails narrowed and reinforced for extra wide rear tire clearance.
· Convertible rear seat inner body structure has been modified keeping stock appearance. While on rotisserie underside was refinished to original 1966 Mustang specs - red oxide floor, satin black engine compartment.
· Exterior received extensive fitting of new sheet metal. Panels were cut, re-shaped, and welded as needed to achieve outstanding gaps and fit - 1967 Shelby style fiberglass hood, GT 350R front valance, Shelby side scoops, and GT rear valance were added for style.
· Car was block sanded multiple times before a modified original Ford code "X" vintage burgundy paint was applied. Finished clear coat has been wet-block sanded flat prior to buffing and polishing to a mirror shine. BASF Glasurit products were used throughout including high solids clear.
· All exterior trim, lights, handles, weather-strips, and bumpers have been replaced with new better quality or "concours" parts when available.
· Side mirrors have LED turn signal indicators and drivers is remote adjustable.
· All glass has been replaced - windshield is a Ford Carlite green tint/ blue shade, tinted vent assemblies, tinted door glass, and tinted quarter glass assemblies. All is new so there are no pits, scratches, or wear.
· Front suspension is a Speedway Mustang II IFS with narrowed tubular control arms, dropped spindles, and adjustable coil- overs. Wilwood 12" disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors were added.
· Rear suspension features a Control Freak triangulated four-link with dual adjustable coil-over shocks and adjustable sway bar. A new Currie 9" with performance axle package, 3.50 gear ratio, and a True Trac (gear type) posi differential were installed. Wilwood rear disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors and parking brake were also added.
· Aluminum tandem master cylinder with adjustable proportioning valve andpower brake booster have been frenched into the smoothed firewall for engine clearance.
· Sway bars were added.
· Power steering and power steering cooler.
· American Racing wheels - 18x8 front, 18x10 rear "old school" grey center wheels continue the vintage 60's look.
· Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires - 235/40/18 up front and 295/35/18 (nearly 12" wide) in the rear fill the wheel wells.
· 5.0 32v Coyote V8 painted 1966 Ford engine blue and installed on urethane motor mounts.
· Ford Racing Performance Control Pack wiring and computer with additional Dyno tuning by legendary Tasca Ford's Mod Shop. Video of the dyno pulls have been posted on YouTube at "1966 Coyote Mustang Convertible Dyno Pull" 1 & 2. A SCT hand held tuner is included for additional custom tuning if desired. Custom cold air intake with K&N filter and factory engine appearance covers.
· Exhaust features Doug's ceramic coated long tube headers, Thrush welded mufflers, 2 1/2" X pipe, and modified Flowmaster tailpipes with polished stainless tips exiting through the GT rear valance.
· Transmission is a Ford 4R70W four speed over-drive automatic shifted through a new original floor shifter with custom linkage. It is controlled by a MSD Atomic Transmission Controller, and is custom programmable with an included hand-held unit. An oversized transmission cooler has been fitted to the GT350R front valance to keep it running cool.
· The wiring has been completely replaced and upgraded with an American Autowire Classic Update Series harness. All systems have been correctly integrated - engine control, transmission control, air conditioning, power windows, power top, lights, gauges, radio, and fuel pump with an inertia safety switch.
· The Optima battery has been relocated to the trunk and has a high amp fuse installed in line for safety.
· A new complete Deluxe Pony interior kit has been installed with TMI Sport II seats featuring improved bolsters for better seating while keeping the original look. The dash pad is a new OE tooling unit and a Drake instrument bezel and complete glovebox have been installed. ACC carpet, matching Mustang logo carpeted floor mats. Drake Pony emblem seat belts.
· Custom Autosound USA630 radio, Rockford Fosgate Punch series speakers. Hidden antenna.
· A Vintage Air air-conditioning unit complete the interior and keeps it cool inside.
· A Nu-Relics power four window kit compliments the operation of all the windows.
· The restored factory power convertible top is covered in modern Stayfast canvas.
· An Ididit tilt steering column has been installed including an original steering wheel with new horn ring.
· A custom set of Speed Hut gauges including GPS 140 mph speedometer, 8k tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature, volt meter and fuel gauge have updated the dash.

The individual who built this car has over 30+ years of high-quality auto restoration and customization experience, and he personally built this car. There is extensive documentation and photos of an almost three-year build. You would not be able to build this quality of a vehicle without spending double the asking price.
Another good thing about this car is that I took all the proper paperwork to Maryland MVA indicating that it was a professionally done ground-up restoration, so the title reveals 2032 miles as the actual mileage on the vehicle.
