1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer No Rust!!! 86K Miles No Reserve Auction!
1994 Ford Bronco Description
1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer, black with tan trim and top. 86K Miles! No Rust! New 35" BF Goodrich tires! For the last 6 months, I've been using this bronco as my daily around town driver and to and from work. It has been very reliable and gets the job done. I'm selling to get something a little more highway friendly and smaller as my wife doesn't like how tall it is and has mobility issues and cannot get into it. (I think she also doesn't like having it sharing space in her garage.) Carfax attached in photos check it out.
Items Replaced/Upgraded in the last 6 months:Brake master cylinder ($800)Ignition cylinder lock ($100)Battery ($120)Steering Gearbox ($350)Wheels and Tires ($1300)Bronco Tire Cover ($125)
Good
I get compliments wherever I go. You don't see many of these Broncos around anymore and even fewer that aren't complete rust buckets. With a good paint job and low mileage, these things regularly sell between $12-20K!
Brand new 35" BF Goodrich tires and 15" black steel wheels, less than 300 miles on them. The spare is identical to the rest with a Bronco Tire Cover on it. Solid truck, no rust with less than 90K miles on it that is hard to find these days! Heater warms up quick and AC blows ice cold!
All electronics work except cruise control and passenger side window switch. It opens/closes from drivers side window Also, the overhead console (temp, direction) is non functioning. No issues with the rear window it operates both with the key and with the switch inside. Power locks and windows. Has 2 keyfobs auto unlock that do function!
Bad
Exterior- Paint needs some love. Hood has clear coat peel and there are places on the body where the paint is peeling. There are some dents in the body from previous owner. Windows could use some new seal kits.
Interior- both seats have upper seat rips, have seat covers on them. Dashboard has crack in it. Door panels have had some poorly repaired work done to them.
Mechanical- Oil had a very minor oil leak in it seems to have cleared up with a higher quality high mileage motor oil. ABS light is on, but no issues with brake system, from what I've researched likely ABS module or a bad wire to one of the ABS sensors. Also, air bag light flashes on dash. This is a common issue with broncos. It is likely the clock spring which is only a $100 fix but I am too chicken to mess with pulling the airbag to get to it! Dipstick can be a bit of a pain to get in and out, may need a replacement.
Some questions I've received I thought I'd share with others:
There was some question as to whether the bronco would fit in a standard garage height. The Bronco is approx 80" from ground to top and fits in my garageI will beunavailableto complete the transaction of the bronco on the Memorial Day weekend. I will extend the requirement for the balance of payment to be made between May 31st thru June 5th.If you are from out of town and buying I would suggest bringing a trailer with you to tow this or paying a service to deliver it to you. It has a 6 inch lift and 35" tires. After about 55 mph it gets a bit hairy...Some folks have asked what it would take to stop the auction. My buy it now price is $5500. Otherwise it is a no reserve auction where the highest bidder wins! Good luck!
