1953 Ford F-100 Description

Do not let this title thing scare you, it truly is a original 1953 all steel truck that was modified. Nevada and Ohio had no issues titling it as a reconstructed/assembled vehicle. My insurance company State Farm insured it as a 1953 and covered it with no problem for $20,000.00 at $95.00 for 6 months.

When the 1953 front suspension was changed over to 1977 Volare the Factory frame Vin number was removed/welded over. When truck was sold to Nevada they would not title it as a 1953 because they could not find a second Vin number. They titled it as a reconstructed vehicle, when sold to me here in Ohio I had it inspected by the Ohio Highway Patrol Inspection station, they looked for at least 30 minutes trying to find a second Vin number, they agreed with Nevada. So this truck is a factory steel 1953 Ford F100 with a 2006 Reconstructed title. Make sure you are comfortable with this before bidding.

I can provide both, the 1953 vin number and the 2006 vin number andI have copies of the Florida and Nevada titles if you wish to have proof of this.

I have had a few inquiries on the truck and one offer to buy before end of auction. Didn't happen for some reason.Make sure you have the money in hand, your wife/husband/significant other says its ok before making an offer.

I will sell it before the auction ends, if we agree on a price, you must send a good faith down payment of $1000.00 NON REFUNDABLE immediately through PayPal. NO EXCEPTIONS

I have looked at many trucks close to mine and they are asking/selling them for over $20,000, even over $30,000. I think my truck is pretty nice and is worth way more then the starting price which I planned on having a reserved price but didn't understand how to do that when I listed it, So I guess I will see what happens at the end.

A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is required to be paid through PayPal at listing end. No exceptions. Balance due within3 days by wire transfer or cash ONLY

Ask me any questions you have, I cantry to take pictures of areas not already on here if you want. Best if we do this through text for faster response. 330/495/4554 before 9pm Ohio time.

Remember it is 65 years old, it has a couple squeaks, rattles, drips. nicks andscratches. It goes down highway at 70mph and purrs. I use a speedometer app since speedometer does not work.

PLEASEcome look at it, drive it before you make a decision. If your high bidder it is a contract that you must follow through with the deal.

It was modified like it is now in 2006 in Virginia, then sold to Florida, then Nevada and now Ohio,
This is a great driver and head turner too. Not a race truck and not a show truck and not a $50,000 truck either.
I have posted a list of everything I was told was done to the drive train and suspension. It also has shaved door handles with poppers. Has ghost flames on hood and the fiberglass bed cover.
The body is all steel except the bed cover and rear valance.
It sounds and looks really good but like I said it is not speed racer or a show truck.
