1967 Ford Mustang Restomod Description

With its big fuel-injected V8, four-wheel disc brakes, cool look, and even cooler A/C interior, this 1967 Ford Mustang is a very speedy pony that's ready to gallop right now. The customization of this Mustang is apparent from every angle. It starts with the gunmetal gray wrap. It gives this classic coupe a look of modern aggression, and that's exactly right for this example. The dual racing stripes add some nice gloss while fitting in with this performance... package. Plus, it all goes nicely with the black vinyl roof for a very well-coordinated color package. There's plenty of nice brightwork on the wraparound bumpers and trim. And the 17-inch polished wheels look like they were borrowed from a more modern Mustang â€" another hint at the upgraded performance beneath the skin. Where the outside was gray with black accents, the interior switches to black with gray accents for a very cool and uniform look. It's best seen on the seats where the factory pieces have been swapped for new TMI units. They have a great pattern and modern bolstering to give this classic Mustang all-day comfort. More comfy upgrades include the armrest center console w/cup holders, overhead console, an AM/FM/cassette digital tuner, and cold-blowing modern R134a air conditioning. While this all looks great and feels luxurious, it's also very much a driver's machine. That's why you have a grippy sports steering wheel, and beyond that, the gauges have been upgraded to AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra Lite units. Ford's FE block is a big V8 that fills the engine bay with power. The consignor states this is a 390 motor bored .30 over with an Edelbrock intake and long tube headers. It's topped with an MSD fuel injection system that's controlled by a program module in the interior. The consignor estimated the full package at whopping 425 horsepower. And so this monster motor also has a large three-core aluminum radiator to help keep it running cool. There's only about 5,500 miles on this build, and so it fires up with the kind of gusto you expect from a fresh fuel-injected car. And when you get it out on the road, features like power steering, the stout C6 three-speed automatic transmission, grippy Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes all combine to make this beastly Ford an easy drive. Big power and good looks are finished off in a package that loves to cruise. So this is the kind of custom pony that you'll love to show off everywhere. Call today!!!
