The 1935 Ford introduced more modern styling with the grille pushed forward and a more streamlined appearance. The 1935 featured a true integrated trunk on "trunkback" models. The Deluxe models included bright windshield and grill trim, twin horns and taillights.
The new Flathead 3.6L V8 for 1935 included directed-flow crankcase ventilation, a cast steel crankshaft and aluminum cylinder heads. This car features the enhanced "59AB" 24-stud engine delivering 100 hp and 239 cubic inches (vs the previous 85 hp / 221 ci engine), with a 3-speed manual transmission.
