1968 Ford Mustang Convertible V8 302 engine. Up for sale with NO RESERVE.
Very original classic, convertible top works very well (new top motor). Professionally installed custom radio with bluetooth and alarm system. Clean green title in hand.
Starts, drives, shifts and stops like a usual 51 year old unrestored Ford Mustang.
Custom LED lights inside that are red white and blue activated by a toggle switch underneath driver side. Paint, I believe is original it has blemishes, scratches and the usual spots of rust, by no means is the paint perfect, I believe the paint is 51 years old. A good paint job would really do wonders for this car. The windshield I believe is original also, it has a small crack in it and lines. (I would replace it for a modern safety glass windshield). Engine and transmission starts fine when warmed up. Probably needs a good tune up, flush and fill of good fluids, brake pads etc. It has a new gas tank, new battery. Very good project for a person with the know how of classic cars and body aesthetics. Tires are very vintage as well as the rims. The underbody has rust and the exhaust I believe is original as well has a small hole in it. It's interior is all original and I would say in good condition. Expect to update some things to modern safety standards, but that is expected when dealing with cars that have been stashed away from the world for 30 plus years. I wanted to do a full restoration on the body and engine, but I had a spinal injury 5 years ago and I just can't get involved with the restoration project and repairs.
The car is being sold with absolutely NO RESERVE and AS-IS condition. I will be present with the transporter to oversee a successful pick up of the car.
