1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. This "A Code" Mustang Fastback was built in San Jose California. It was ordered with air conditioning, power steering, automatic, power drum brakes, full console, and all the original Ford Script datedglass is in great condition.The rear glass, along with the Windshield are Sun "X"tinted glass.I Have the originalair conditioner unit, and thecompressor, and the original fullconsole, along with original correct " smogCalifornia air cleaner" and breather,in storage. They are included with the sale. Not only isthis fastbackrust free, but it also hasnever had any rust. This car has never seen snow, or rain. The floors, and Torque boxes, trunk floors, and drop offs,have never been replaced, rusted, dented, or messed with. The driver's side quarter panel was professionallyreplace, from about 2" down fromthe horizontal peek, this was from being side swiped, and not from rust, and done early in it's life, using an originalO.E.M.panel.The originalfront fenders, are date codedtwo days apart, Oct.2nd and Oct. 5th, 1964.This is a numbers matching, totally unmolested, original untouched example of a beautiful 55 year old Mustang fastbackwhich is getting veryhard to find. I purchased this car in October of 2015, from someone who had purchased it in California in 1986, and garage stored it for 30 years. It is hard to say if some of the paint is original or not, but this car has only had a couple of caringowners, and my guess is one re-spray and it is not a bondo bucket.This owner had a reproduction door tag made to replace the missing original one. I have done extensive research, and have figured out that the San Josebuild date on this fastback,wasOct.29th or K29 . VirginiaMustang can supply a new Marti-Report door tag, with thecorrected build date, when you supply proof of ownership.I installed a new gas tank, and Drake S/S sender, new NAPAalt., and original style correct Virginia Mustangvoltage reg., new NAPAstarter, and tune up. Runs and goes wel, The old starter, and Alternator are included.The brake booster I believe needs to be re-built, I have a new NAPAbrakeMaster Cylinde, which is included.Have color copies of the"Pink Slip" California title from 1986.The California plates, which match this title, and theoriginal owners booklet are included in the sale.
