1957 Ford F-100 -- Description

This 1957 Ford F-100 is one of the most interesting finds around. It had a recent frame-off restoration that kept much of its originality (even the V8 is believed to be original.) But as you look over the fresh work there are also some upgrades that give it added usability and charm. You can tell there was a lot of time and money invested into looking this good. The red has a classic look, but it never had... this kind of luster from the factory. That's what you get with a modern professional respray with only about 60 miles on the truck since completion. And because this was a frame-off restoration, even the undercarriage looks amazingly fresh. Plus, against the glossy red are some nice silver touches, like the bumpers, grille, badging, and wheel covers. While the package looks great, you also don't have to be afraid of pulling real truck duty, because the steel bed is protected with liner paint. Inside this one has a terrific vintage look with great details like the steel door panels, vent windows, heat/defrost knobs, and silver gauge panel in the full red dash. Even the AM radio is still powering up! And the large steering wheel has that unmistakable vintage grip. But we know you also instantly spotted a great upgrade. This has dual leather bucket seats borrowed from a BMW. They have modern German-engineered bolstering and power adjust to your ideal position. So they really let you get all-day comfortable in this classic pickup. Even the engine bay follows this great red theme. But while you marvel at how well presented the motor is â€" right down to the factory decal on the valve covers â€" you should also take note of the power. Ford's 292 cubic-inch V8 is the exact motor you want in this truck, it is understood it is period correct and potentially the original powerplant. Plus, they added a new Holley 650 CFM four-barrel carburetor on top and headers feeding the dual exhaust, so this one breathes with extra power. And the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission lets you control it all in that cool/classic way. A freshly restored pickup that adds the right upgrades to a very vintage atmosphere. This is one unique classic truck, and if you hurry, it can all be yours. Call now!
