Up for sale is my 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Hardtop, 289 cu. in. engine, cruise-o-matic automatic transmission, 57,338 original miles, beautifully refinished in Ford Emberglow Metallic with black interior and padded dash, power steering, power brakes, non-A/C car, AM radio. This car has been in my family since 1986. The car is absolutely beautiful and shows like a true low mileage car - crisp and clean! Ithas been garaged all its life and not seen rain in our house since purchased, never restored but meticulously maintained and in fantastic condition. The car was professionally repainted years ago and overall looks amazing with very few blemishes and compliments a clean body. The interior is original and absolutely gorgeous including the seat upholstery, dash, door panels and carpet. The original chrome and stainless shine beautifully and are in unbelievable condition. Under the hood looks nice and original. The trunk area is clean and in nice shape too. The mechanics of the car are in excellent condition. It runs and drives nice and strong. Engine starts up quiet, shifts and drives great. The underside of the car is clean with excellent floors and frame and original undercoating over most of it (see pictures). The gas tank and mufflers have been replaced with new. Door jambs look great. Tires are older bias-ply but look like new, the hubcaps also look like new. IMPORTANT ...
