By far one of the nicest '50 Ford Custom Coupes on the market today! A southern car for 59 of it's 69 years. It has never seen snow and only occasional rain.
The body of this great car, except for a few emblems, has been left totally stock. This great car has 7,000 miles on the resto when purchased by the present owner, who has only put apprx. 1,000 miles on it during the past 10 years.
Stripped to a bare frame, the originalowner installed an S-10 front clip with PS and front power disc brakes. GM drums are on the rear. A new Chevy 350 crate engine was installed along with a GM 350 auto trans with a shift kit and a Lokar shifter. New tinted glass and a Kenwood stereo CD with a removeable face along with a very nice full white interior and maroon carpet was installed. VintageAir and heat are then installed. The battery was relocated to the trunk along with a kill switch under the rear bumper. A combination of stainless steel and chrome dual exhaust was then installed. Wheels are from Pacer and of course there are blue dot taillights. To top it off there is keyless entry, a tilt column and a sought after '61 Chevy steering wheel.
