This exceptional 1929 vehicle was purchased in 1998 from Jerry Wilhelm a former president of the local Model A club and former national director of the Model A Restorers Club. He indicated that it was restored with factory specs using 99% NOS parts. He possessed an extensive collection of Model A's in a heated/air conditioned building and maintained them for his personal pleasure. He didn't drive them as he treasured them as show pieces.
Since my purchase I have kept it in a closed garage with a battery maintainer attached and drove it very little driving on state routes with no fear.
The odometer shows approximately 950 miles since restoration. A leakless water pump was added to avoid the maintenance as well as side view mirrors for safety. The carb has been rebuilt and has shown absolutely no leaking. The electric windshield wiper motor needs the gears replaced. As is the case with any vehicle some mechanical work may be required from time to time. It has been recently tuned up.
EXTRAS: Window Curtains and Top Boot are included; Rumble Seat; Wing Windows; Quail Hood Ornament; and Dual Fender Mount White Wall Spare Tires.
