OVER $38,000 was spent on the build!1965 Mustang Convertible, beautiful Mexican Bayou Red paint Resto-Mod with less than 1000 miles since the build. 289 Automatic with 8 Inch posi-traction rear end and 9 inch disc brakes. Everything works on the car except the horn. The horn is present just not functioning.I purchased this car form from a man with health problems who could not finish it up.The car runs and drives very nice. Excellent driver quality car !!!!There is no existing rust in the floor pans. However, there have been some repair panels that were welded in. 85% are theoriginal floors. The paint job is very nice and cost $4500. Side and hood scoops were added. There is a superficial tiny crack on the drivers side of the hood scoop.The top has one small hole the size of a pencillead, and the inside of the top could be re-foamed.New to the car are thefollowing items- NewDakota digital dash, Interior with molded door panels, Dash Pad, Carpet, Digital stereo, Console, Interior handles, Glove box liner,Shelby style Wheels with new Firestone Fire Hawk tires, Frame rails, Rebuilt frontend, Electronic fuel injection, Gas tank, Rear Springs, 8 inch Posi-traction rear-end, Wheel and axle bearings, Motor mounts, Aluminum radiator, Stainless support rods, Distributor, Hoses, Belts, Battery and box,Trunk Liner,Stainless steel dualexhaust, 9 inch disk brakes, Adjustable front end, Summit transmission pan,Truck-Lite headlights, Shocks, LED tail lights, U Joints, Drive shaft, Power steering pump, too much to list...
All the chrome is very nice. Doors open and close as theyshould. Windows roll up and down easily and are inexcellent condition. All mechanicals were tested. Any defects are noted above.This is a very nice car and I do my best to accurately describe everything. Sold as is. No warranty is expressed or implied.
