Click above arrow for video of this 1969 Ford F100 truck running and driving!!!(if doesnt work, try watching on non mobile device)
this 1969 Ford F100 shortbox v8 three speed on the floor truck is a 2 owner truck. The previous owner has owned it since 1979 and moved here to iowa last year and sold me the truck. It belonged to her father who quit driving it five years ago. We did a tune up, and ran it off a aux gas tank not knowing what condition the original tank was (should probally be cleaned before using) flushed the radiator and the truck started right up. I had so much fun driving it last year I decided to hold onto it for the summer and bomb around my local dirt roads and drive the grandkids to the local trout streams.
I just took it out of storage and it fired up on the first try. I drove it approx. 15 miles for the video with no issues. the v 8 ran great wth no knocks misses or smoke. The things that should be addressed to make this a drive home daily driver would be to clean the gas tank out, rebleed the brakes although they do stop the way they are, I seem to have to pump it once before it is a good hard pedal. The interior in this truck looks great. there was a dash pad added over the original dash which had some cracks (pictured) The truck was repainted a while back and shows some flaws, really neat patina. take a look at the video and pictures to see what you get, it is a very solid truck. The original wood is under the steel bed sheet, watch the video of the drive over to see it! Tires are daily driver quality. the windows go up and down and the door open and shut the way they should. the tailights and lights all work. The vin decode is as follows, vin F10glf59723 F10=f100 2wd, G=302 v8 L=michigan assembly, F=aug. 1969 production The truck came from the factory with a 3 speed on the column and the previous owner converted it to a 3 speed on the floor. Definitely more fun to drive this way! There is play in the shift linkage but I personally did not have a problem finding the gears. the miles are sold exempt as the truck is over 10 years or older. The flag plate topper and dice do not go with the sale as they are part of my collection. This truck comes with a open clean title ready for you to register numbers matching. I can recommend shippers who have been very reasonable in the past.
I am setting the reserve well below market value to ensure a sale, only bid if you are serious about buying it! I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it, let the video and pictures tell the story. AS every one has their own opinion on what a classic truck should be, I would recommend comming by appointment to inspect the truck personally or hire ebay to do a independant inspection for you before bidding. I require a 500 non refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the truck, I will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. If you have any questions at all, call 563 568 5111 or 563 568 1182, thanks for looking at our 69 ford truck!
