1936 Ford Other Pickups Street Rod Description
You are looking at a beautifully built 1936 Ford Street Rod Pickup.This truck originated in California and the current elderly owner brought it to Texas 25 years ago and built it into a street rod. It was redone and upgraded 1500 miles and about 4 years ago. Truck has Henry Ford sheet metal and frame except for a handmade stainless steel bed floor (beautiful), tailgate and Fiberglass rear fenders. Engine is a LS 1, 4.8 Chevy computerized fuel injected V8 hooked up to a Muncie 5 speed manual overdrive transmission. Motor and trans have approx 12,000 orig miles. It runs and drives perfect. Rear end is Jaguar narrowed 4", 3:34 ratio with inboard disc brakes. Front end is Mustang II completing the four wheel disc and four wheel independent suspension. Interior is all aircraft grade genuine leather including door panels and even headliner. Truck also has Dolphin gauges, cold A/C and warm heat, Tilt wheel, "Weld" brand racing wheels, Halogen headlights with front signals inside pots, all LED tail, brake, and signals, and aluminum radiator.The cab and doors of this unit have never had rust and are perfect and required no metal work in restoration process. Back of cab is the straightest I've ever seen.This truck is very dependable and could easily be used as a daily driver. This truck has been driven and has a few, and I mean very few, nicks and chips and paint could use a good color sand and buff to be show quality.
