1979 Ford F-350 XLT Description

Very straight, well maintained, one ton 1979 Ford F-350 Supercab RWD long bed. 45,754 original miles. 400ci V8 starts easy and runs well. Idaho truck currently garaged in central Nebraska.

The interior is 9/10 with very well cared for leather on the front seats as well as on the rear bench / fold-down storage area.

Recent upgrades include Autofab twin, 1.5" wide, front I-beams with camber kick, bent and aligned for three inches of lift complete with Autofab's 3-inch lift coil springs and tall buckets. Autofab's adjustable tie rods and drag link with all new bushing and Doetsch rebuildable gas shocks complete the suspension upgrade.

Tires are five brand new BF Goodrich All Terrain A/T KO2, 285/75R16 (~33") on powder coated 16", 8-lug Wheel Vintique steelies. Stopping power is increased significantly with the removal of the OEM vacuum system replaced with a Hydratech hydroboost braking system, fine-tuned with Wilwood in-line residual pressure valves, coupled with four wheel disc brakes (rear are converted single pot calipers - a Dana 70 bolt-on package - and the front are new calipers -- all corners running heavy duty brake pads and rotors). Brakes, tires, and suspension have seen less than 500 miles.

The roof and side panels were painted antique white in 2017 as the roof (originally blue) was showing increasing surface rust. The drip rails are perfect and the body is very straight. Original blue paint is faded, chipped and scratched in areas consistent with a forty-year old truck. Very minimal denting throughout the body with no signs of patchwork. Back belt chrome molding is available but not installed.
Rear under-body spare tire hanger removed. Some denting on front, right grille. Minimal stains on interior carpet. The rear shocks work, but look old. Areas of surface rust on portions of the blue. (Cab corners, door jams, wheel wells and drip rails are all rust free.) The surface rust is more prevalent on the lower panels, but no areas are rusted through. Some rust drips from the front lugs onto the white wheels.

I have the service records from when I've owned it (2015- ). The last service had a full engine tune, leaky gas tank fitting fixed (both F and R tank and pumps work), and all of the additional lift, tire, brake etc mods complete.
Will gladly help ship, load on a trailer or drive this F-350 away no problem. 100% positive eBay feedback for nearly 20 years.

Drive type is RWD. It was selected as such but now listed as 4WD per eBay. This is not correct.
