All Original Paint - Only The Back Trunk Kick Panel Was Repainted Years and Years Ago - The rest of the paint is original to the car. Of course the paint shows wear, chips here and there, and some crazing from the age. The family always discussed restoring the car but it ran and drive so well they decided to keep it all original...good choice.
The interior including the door panels - gauges carpets and headliner is all in great shape as you can see by the photos
Impressively the Mustang performs very well, starts right up and shifts thru the geras as it should, emergency brake works, radio works, and the guages in the car seemingly work well. The correct 289 matching numbers V8 has been well miantained, this car was always stored indoors. The engine bay and components are all original...even has the buck tag on manifold power steering option.
The wheels are all in good shape for original, the undercarriage is extremely solid and the panels are all laser straight and the chrome shows well for being original. All the panels are original. Panels are straight as an arrow, great body fit and seams really nice. The vinyl roof is beautiful. The interior is all original to the car, likely new carpet at some time as it shows as new. Car comes with new inter door panle inserts as well and metal dash trim if you choose to install, have a look at the trunk pics, super solid and original, with spare, even has the originl jack sticker, comprable all original cars have been reaching way over $25000 - $32500
