1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible Description

Long, sleek, and stylish, this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible is the kind of V8-powere classic droptop that is always in-demand. And when you see everything from the color combo to the extra features, you know this one has ton to offer.
This one has a look that instantly conveys both speed and elegance. You see it up front how the mirror-like bumper was built to neatly complement the lines of the full-width grille. In the rear, the afterburner-style taillights are contoured into the fenders. Along the side the full-length trim does a cool C-channel that emphasis how long this road king is. And the fender skirts that contour to the creases in the sheetmetal add to this overall sleek look. It's all set apart even more by the vivid factory-correct Rangoon Red that look great with the white roof in place and even better against the red interior.
The full red package really makes for an eye-catching interior. This is Ford's full-sized car, and so there's plenty of room for family and friends. They'll appreciate thoughtful details, like the cloth inserts in the seats (great for when jumping in on a hot day.) This car is made for cruising so there are nice features, like a power convertible top and a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo. You also have all the right classic pieces, like the full bright trim package, an artful steering wheel, and a speedometer as long as the horizon.
Open the hood for a true treat. The bold blue block, shining valve covers, and overall tidy presentation does a great job of showing off the 352 cubic-inch V8. This big block inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and the dual exhaust now has a hint of a brawny note. Plus, with power steering and a three-speed automatic transmission, this is a powerful and comfortable classic cruiser.
This convertible has a lot of personality. Even the DSO is listed as 22, so this is still selling out of its original Charlotte area over a half-century later! It all makes for a full-size droptop of distinction, and that's the kind of classic we all love. Call now!
