1957 Ford Fairlane 500, nice, rust free car!
1957 Ford Fairlane grey and black Description
Selling my 57 Ford Fairlane 500 sedan. This car is remarkable in the fact that it is 100% rust free. Its an older resto that has had some recent updates. This is not a showcar, but it is a nice driver that you can use and enjoy now. Super clean chassis, super clean trunk floor. All the lower edges are sharp and cancer free. Older paint, the black on the sides is in nice shape. Super straight, all nice panel gaps. The silver on top looks like older lacquer and is checked in spots and has some flaws. Paint on the roof is cracked and chipped . Very nice interior. Seats are nice, no splits. Nice dash, door panels, carpet in good shape, not mint. Headliner has some staining and a couple small mouse holes. 292- 2 barrel Thunderbird V8. Fresh tune up. Runs and drives well. Shifts properly. FordoMatic trans. Quiet motor. No noises, no smoke. Wipers have been converted to electric. Very clean under the hood. Four recent radial whitewall tires. Recent work done includes new wheel cylinders for the front brakes, new headlight switch, new muffler, and new window glass on three side windows. So all nice glass now. It does drip a little oil on the garage floor when its parked, but don't they all? I will include the 57 Shop manual. Has a Mass title from 2010 showing 65,000 miles on the front. The car is originally from Florida. Has been in Mass for a number of years. So overall this car is in great original shape. With a few finishing touches it can be outstanding. Where do you find these as solid as this? Feel free to call me with any questions. 508-498-5789. Jeff. Car can be seen in Milford, Mass. It is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to pull the add if it sells first. The reserve is well under 10k, so I am not looking for the long dollar. Thanks for checking it out. If you have under 10 feedback, call me before you bid. I will work with your shipper. Thanks again.
