Classic Roadster street rod vintage hot rod
1932 Ford Roadster -- Description
Here's an awesome build of a 1932 Ford Roadster with a menacing stance, midnight paint, and top-quality components. So dig deep into all the details on this thoughtful total build that even has a proper triple-deuce setup on the V8!
The matte black and fender-free presentation give this the instant look of a cool street machine. But this one also has a ton of flair. You see this with chrome in all the right places, starting with that iconic vertical grille flanked by those big round headlights. Chromed suspension pieces peek out from underneath adding a splash of flash both front and rear. From the side, you will notice uniform gaps, smooth body panels, and creases as sharp as a starched tuxedo shirt. That's what you get with a quality Down's body. In fact, we have build receipts totaling over $45k just in the quality components. Of course, it wouldn't be this cool without the color coordination from the red accenting in the open engine bay that matches the red painted steel wheels. Plus, there's more quality everywhere you look: from the custom canvas convertible top, to the bright whitewalls. It all tells you this is one thoughtful build.
A machine like this was meant to be open to the world, so the all traces of the roof can go away to give you that clean roadster look. You get the classic bench seat appearance, except it has plenty of bolstering and finished in a supple leather. So this is a seat you can really enjoy. The classic banjo-style sports steering wheel with Ford V8 center is mounted on a Flaming River tilt column. The Lokar floor shifter has a cool piston-top look. There are even some cool hidden details, like the full pinstriping package on the firewall below the dash. There's also a push-button start and power lid for the fully furnished trunk. And you may have noticed that the upgraded Classic Instruments gauge package is set in a bold purple surround, and it will be good to remember that color for later.
A 350 cubic-inch V8 with this much character deserves to be on display. And the cream firewall with pinstriping really draws extra attention to the motor. The triple-deuce setup is a true icon of the hot rod scene, and so this one maximizes that look with the three Rochester carbs painted in red. This sets off a fully coordinated package with plug wires as well as the ridges of the air toppers and valve covers painted to match. Plus, you have other iconic performance pieces, like the Offenhauser aluminum intake, Hunt pro racing distributor, and Sanderson headers. You may have noticed that you have the option of a rumbling Flowmaster dual exhaust, or if you really want to bring the thunder, there are cut outs on the sides. The V8 is mated to a strong 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission that offers stout construction and overdrive comfort. And as you look at the undercarriage photos, you'll see the desirable Roadster Shop chassis finished in a bold purple for added distinction. And don't forget to check out the right driving components, like the hairpins up front, four-link rear w/adjustable coilovers, and front disc brakes.
You already know this is a quality build even before we go through the $$$$$ in receipts. That's why you know this is the street machine you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
