I am selling my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500.
This is a great driver quality Galaxie. It is not perfect but shows very well and is very tight mechanically.It was originally a 289 car and now has a 351 Windsor out of a 1969 Mustang. The heads have been ported and titanium valves installed. The rear-end is a 9" with Auburn positrac and 3.73 gears. The transmission has also been rebuilt and a shift kit installed. This work was done by the previous owner who owned it since 1980. I planned on keeping it, since my first car in high school was a 67 Galaxie, but the remodel on my house has changed those plans.Power steering, headers with updated dual exhaust, P245/60R15 Radial G/T Road Huggers with great tread. Aftermarket gauges, Sony CDX-5290 CD player with aftermarket speakers - there is a draw somewhere, so I do take the sound system fuse out when parked for extended periods.
It runs great and drives/stops straight. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country.
Floorboards are clean, one spot of bubbles in front of the passenger side rear wheel (see picture). Two paint chips (driver side door jam and passenger front fender) and a dimple in the driver side door chrome (see pictures). There were two areas of rust in the rear quarters that the previous owner cut out and installed patches prior to re-painting.
