1978 Ford F-150 RANGER XLT Description

A real one owner garage kept original paint time capsule. Truck was purchased at parish motors in Goochland va and spent it’s entire life in the same county. I purchased this from a elderly gentleman and it was his pride and joy since he took delivery of it in 12/77. The dealer sold him the leer macho camper shell and was painted to match the two tone of the truck. It is in excellent condition as well. The bed of the truck has never been used to carry anything. Paint is in excellent condition for the age. I washed and applied 2 coats of wax. All of the original paint/grease pencil marks are present under the hood on firewall and on the front of the bed side. Bottoms of doors and floor pans are amazing. No rust anywhere, never any paint work since new. It’s a 351m and auto trans operate flawlessly. All brakes have been replaced, water pump replaced, fuel pump, all belts and hoses replaced. Brand new tires and updated to newer model f150 wheels. Gas tank was removed and cleaned and new rubber lines installed. This truck rides and drives like a Lincoln towncar. Original carpet has some fade where the still present factory rubber floor mats don’t cover it. Door panels are in perfect condition. Some wear on drivers side of the bench seat other than that it’s in great shape. The pictures speak for themselves. I am willing to work with your shipper once funds have cleared. And I’m willing to take to any local ford dealer for inspection at your cost. There is nothing to hide here just a honest garage kept 1 owner cared for pickup. I have the original titl, owners manua, about 20 years worth of inspection records that were in glove bo, original spare tire. I will provide a new title to the buyer in my name and also the original will come with the truck. I have plenty of pictures I’m not sure why the engine pictures didn’t load. Mileage on the odometer is 59,954. It’s a 5 didgit odometer. Buy the looks of the truck and the inspection records I’d say it’s 59k and not a 159k. But there is no way to be sure.

Please note this is a non-AC truck. The eBay options thing was acting weird and kept adding it back in. Also please anyone who wants engine bay photos just asking will gladly send them. Nothing to hide it looks exactly as It left the factory. Stock air cleaner all vacuum lines still hooked up and operating, factory heat riser still intact. The flexible duct that connects the breather to the air inlet duct has some dry rot. Most of the time this piece of ducting is gone on these trucks.
