1983 Ford Ranger Description

1983 ranger 302 swapped with new hughes c4 transmission rated for 500hp. Brand new edelbrock performer 650 carb with used matching intake. Aluminum radiator with electric fan. New B&M torque converter and tci aluminum bellhousing. New 157 tooth flexplate. B&m ratchet shifter with matching t handle shift knob. New alternator starter solenoid voltage regulator. A.R.E aluminum wheels. Almost brand new Goodyear tires, previous owner put them on they are too tall for the front fenders. Starts runs and drives/stops fine. It is a PROJECT truck i dont have time for anymore. no rust other than what is pictured. Have over 7 grand in it. Previous owner claimed the motor had been bored .040 and has 10:1 pistons and a cam putting it at around 300hp, that the rear had 4:11s with a locker, however i have no proof of this other than it runs better on 93 and it takes off strong. Needs wiring gone over i have redone most of it but its not done. Exhaust should be replaced as well. I would suggest replacing the electric choke with a manual. Needs some upholstery work as well unless you are trying to build a dragster. All new parts have less than 500 miles on them. Clean title.
