1965 Ford F-100 Description
Up for sale is a beautiful 1965 Ford F100 long bed pickup. This is the first year of the twin beam front end it has a strong 300 inline 6 cyl. with just over 63,000 miles. This truck was a farm find in Kansas. All steel no bondo repainted and reupholstered. The paint is nice no clear coat. It has new brake cylinders, shoes,,drums, dual reservoir master cylinder, added brake booster, vacuum reservoir, new brake lines. All 4 shocks were replaced. New Daytona single barrel carburetor and air filter. Points were replaced with a Pertronix electronic ignition, regulator was replaced with an electronic unit, new plugs and wires. New Flex-a-lite fan blade and Champion aluminum radiator, new water pump, 4 new tires, even a new matching spare. Installed a Vintage Air Sure Fit heating and air conditioning unit. There is a small amount of rust on the bottom of the tail gate I covered it up with tape, see pictures. I will include another one to replace it but it will need to be painted. I started painting the engine bay but didn't finish so you can paint it as you like. Also due to health reasons I haven't been able to drive it a lot, just around the neighborhood to keep things lubricated. It also has a new Extang Tonneaus cover installed and a full size winter cover that comes with it.. Sold as is.
