1969 Ford F-100 Ranger Shot Bed

1969 Ford F-100 2WD Short bed pickup truck. It is an original F100 1/2 ton Short Bed.114,000 miles on the body. Has a rebuilt 460 v8 and a rebuilt C6 three speed automatic transmission.

I have had the following professionally done within the last few months.

New battery, brakes gone through, new spark plugs and wires, some wiring re-done on the front end. All the brake lights, headlights and turn signals gone through and repaired. Has a new diamond plate bed and new carpet.

She does have rust as you can see in the pics but there has been a coat put on the rough areas to stop it further. The surface rust on the hood just gives it the head turning look.

The doors close as they should and lock with the original key. The windows roll up and down smooth.

The Bad:

Some surface rust and some rust through on the tailgate and a small spot under the passenger floorboard. The windshield has a small crack that’s been filled and wont split further but has been kept due to not being able to save the chrome trim around the top that gives the truck a really good look.The steering column does not have the PRNDL icon and must be done by feel. The radio does not work and there are no speakers… not sure where they were back then? The door armrests need to be re-bolted but they are on and secure. The seat has the standard rip on the drivers side that has black gorilla tape that hides it well. The seat is original.

The truck runs amazing and has been a daily driver. All the gauges work. The body is actually very solid other than the rust spots. The floorboards, frame, and rockers are in overall great shape.The bed is very solid. No rust in the door frames or A pillars. Short Beds have gone up in value and this one turns heads. This would make a great work truck, daily driver or restore it. Please be understanding with your expectations.It is a used truck that's 50 years old that's not been frame off restored. I have posted as many pictures as possible of good and bad I can send more if needed. I want to be honest and upfront from the beginning so there are no “you didn’t tell me that”. I want you to be happy with your new/used truck. I would drive this truck to Florida tomorrow!
