This auction is for a Beautiful 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT in the sought after Black that brings out the awesome look of the second generation Bronco.This Bronco is solid and clean and sits straight and level looks as good on the inside as it does outside.Equipped with a 351M engine, automatic transmission, manual hubs, factory air conditioning that still works, woodgrain XLT interior door and dash trim, tilt wheel with cruise control option. Interior and seats are in excellent shape with no damage rips or tears.Carpet is clean and in very good condition. I believe vehicle was never smoked in and has no bad odors from abuse. All lights work. Under the hood is all original looking as it would for a 42 year old vehicle, nothing has been upgraded to any aftermarket parts still has the original air cleaner.The drive train was removed from the vehicle and the underside of the bronco, chassis and rears were media blasted and painted. Body mounts were replaced. All new springs front coil and rear leaf, new wheel bearing and seals, new drag link, tie rods and steering damper. All suspension bushings were replaced. Total brake system was replaced from booster to wheel cylinders including lines. All new shocks front and rear. New Exhaust.33 x 12.50 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A Radial tires on New Pro Comp 15 x 10 wheels.Paint overall is in very nice condition it looks new. Has some normal marks from over the years but nothing drastic. No paint bubbling or rust bubbles.Cons of the Bronco are:It could use new bumpers, the back one is pretty good and the front one has some pitting I'm sure they are both original. The bottom corners of the tailgate have some chipping in the paint although it is not from rust "see photos" could be professionally touched up its below the trim so could be repaired easily. Radio needs replaced powers up but no sound just static, maybe bad ground or speakers. Power steering pump is noisy works but could use a new one. Rock auto price under $30.00.
