1979 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Description

1979 Ford F250 4x4 Supercab. 460 Engine. Dual Fuel Tanks. New A/C System, New Steering Box, and much more (I have itemized list I can send by e-mail) recently done by local Mechanic. New Rims and Buckshot Mudder Tires. It‘s a good looking, good running, strong truck, but it is 41 years old and not in a mint perfect condition. I am open for you to hire an Inspection Company look it over for you. I used Lemon Squad in the past and found they were very accurate in their assessment.
Several people are asking about rust, so I figured I would include in the Post...Let me preface this by saying I am a Vehicle Enthusiast, but I am not a Restorer or Mechanic. With that said, underneath is pretty clean and solid. On the driver's side Supercab, there is about a 2" x 1/2" surface rust patch where the paint is off. There is some paint bubbling on the front edge of the hood, where there may be rust underneath. I attached pictures. I will say that the local mechanic I took it to after I bought the truck, said it is a good solid truck and not rusty. As I mentioned above, you are welcome to have an Inspection Company come Inspect it for you. I bought a 77 Bronco from out of state and had Lemon Squad inspect it for me. Their assessment was spot on. There are also other companies that do the same thing.
