1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hotrod Streetrod Ratrod Project
1929 Ford Model A Description
1929 Ford Model A RoadsterAll original Henry steel and the next America's Most Beautiful Roadster - your next project awaits you! It is my intent to describe this vehicle in as great detail as I can, but please make it a point to view all the photos and feel welcome to reach out via the eBay message board with any questions you may have. This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster has a clear title and the buyer will receive a notarized Bill of Sale on official Montana Department of Motor Vehicle form along with a company invoice from Montana Vintage Tin, LLC (mtvintin). Additionally, we are authorized dealers for Brookville Roadster and so can supply any necessary parts and pieces needed to complete your build from patch panels to a custom chassis.
Engine/Transmission: No engine or transmission with this vehicle. The remainder of the drive train - drive shaft and rear end - is in tact. No radiator.
Sheet Metal: The sheet metal on this car is rather sound with very few areas of rust through. Surface rust can be seen across the whole body giving the body a nice dose of patina. The rear wheel well panels show some rust through near the bottoms where the panel crimps under the subrail. The subrails, however, are very solid and sound. They had been cut at one point, but have been welded back together. Cowl, door bottoms, and other body areas are sound. The floor is complete beneath the seats and in the trunk/rumble seat area but has seen some abuse from traveling the dirt/gravel farm roads of Montana. Hood, deck lid, and quarters have typical dents and dings. Fenders, splash aprons, and running boards need some TLC.
Interior/Trim: Dash rail is present along with gauge cluster. Seat frame and seat springs are present. The two windshield stanchions are missing along with the windshield frame itself.
Wheels/Tires: All four wheels are included with the car, but no rubber on the wheels at all. Rolls easily for transport.
