1946 FORD COE BEAUTIFUL PROJECT TRUCK
1946 Ford Other Description
This auction is for a 1946 Ford COE Project. If you have been looking for the right truck to build then look no further. I will describe this to the best of my ability and also give you information I was told. Prior owner purchased this truck a few years ago from North Dakota and had it shipped to our area. It was sent to a high end professional body shop to undergo a complete nut and bolt restoration in original form. This was a real super nice truck to start with.Absolutely rust free. The truck was taken completely apart. Frame was sandblasted as was all the sheet metal parts, linkages, window regulators, etc. All sheet metal parts prepped and primed ready for paint then installation. Cab was done the same way. This cab and body parts are so nice you would think it was a left over from the factory. All panels are smooth and pretty much ready for paint. No patches or repair work. Frame has been primed and painted along with all (6) wheels, springs, suspension parts and rear end. Radiator was sent out and completely redone as new. The original flat head V-8 motor to the truck was completely rebuilt and done with adjustablelifters, rings, bearings, valves, etc, new water pumps, fly wheel resurfaced, new clutch. Has original 4spd trans with 2 spd rear axle and power take off. The outside parts of the motor such as starter, generator, fan, carb, coil, wires, etc can be cleaned up and used but they were going to go with new. We were debating whetherto paint the vehicle before putting it together but decided to let it go the way it is as it is a beautiful blank canvas for how you want your build to be. Can easily be taken apart as we used a lot of new bolts and cleaned up some of the original ones. There are a lot of different directions you can go with this truck. I love the beautiful stream lined art deco style of the 41 to 47 COE trucks. We have 99 percent of all the parts. A few things you will need is a new wiring harness, glass and some brake items. We have both exhaust manifolds and front Y pipe but needs the rest. Thousands of dollars have been spent on the purchase of the truck, body shop costs, motor rebuild and so on but this one is going to be sold at a very reasonable price. This golden opportunity does not come along very often so here,s your chance. Just as good as money in the bank. The dimensions of the truck are 19 feet over all length, 156 Inch Wheel Base, 77 Inches Wide and 87 Inches High. We took the two outer wheels off and hauled it on our 18 foot car trailer. We can store the vehicle in side for a short period of time if you need time to make arrangements for shipping. We also have a storage facility around the corner if you want to pay the fee should you need more time to pick it up. Sold on a dealer bill of sale and proper dealer transfer paperwork. If you need a title in your state we are willing to register the truck and with that and our paperwork you will receivea title. It would be $200 for this service. We require a $500 dollar non refundable deposit at the end of auction and balance to be paidwithin 3 days. If you have a chance and are going to be in our area I would advise you to come and take a look at the truck and see just how nice it really is. If you need more pics or info feel free to email or call us at 1-207-432-2862 and we will be more than happy to go over the vehicle with you.
